Hi Everyone, Wee Man here - Part 1

I am going to tell you a bit about the holiday me and granny went on to London for my birthday. We had a fantastic time and I think it was the best holiday ever. I can't wait to go back again another day. Gran said maybe next year.
We went on the Caledonian sleeper train from Inverness to London Euston and had breakfast on the train when we got there.
When we got to Euston we went to the hotel and left our bags before we went to Hamley's. I bought a model of the new London hybrid buses.
Granny blew up balloons and decorated our bedroom while I was asleep.
I didn't hear a thing!
The cool blue bunting was made for me by our friend Sue Waters in America.
The train card was sent from Pam Robinson in America. She made it just for me.
I was very lucky and got lots of gifts and cards from my friends and when we were having our breakfast the workers brought me a birthday breakfast and everyone sang Happy Birthday to me. I was a bit scared at first but it was very nice.
Afterwards we went to the London Aquarium. My favourite was the sharks
Granny's favourite was the Sea Horses but I think they are boring.
Did you know there is such a thing as Cowfish!?
In the afternoon we went on the Tea Bus There was lots of nice things to eat.
The ladies brought me a big cupcake and everyone sang Happy Birthday to me and I blew out the candles.
We went past this office building and the lady on the bus said it costs £30million to get an office there! I think that's just crazy!

I am sharing this with Elizabeth for T on Tuesday.
I will tell you more about our holiday another day. Maybe tomorrow.

Thanks for popping by to say Hi :D

Bye for now! Hugs, Wee Man.

  2. Oh Wee Man, so very, very glad you had a good birthday and so many people all over the world surprised you, too.

Looks like you packed a LOT into the trip, including the fun time you had on the train, and getting a new bus, too.

So glad that you shared the London aquarium with us, and I like sharks, too.

Golly all that food on the bus looks wonderful. I was super impressed that you got so very much to eat. I bet you gained 10 pounds. OK, maybe not, since you are so active.

Thanks for sharing your birthday and trip with us for T this Tuesday. I can't wait to see more of the trip!!!! After all, I live vicariously (literal translation: I don't get out much, so enjoy it when others share where they have been).

  5. It sounds like you had a lovely time with Granny in London, Wee Man! So you were sung to TWICE on your birthday by my count! That's fabulous!! So glad you had a good time and you liked your bunting that I made. Your treats on the Tea Bus look delicious and I'm with Granny, I prefer the sea horses to sharks! Can't wait to hear about the rest of your trip.

  9. What a trip! I think my favorite part was the aquarium. I'd like to take that tea tour on the bus. That's a striking building, but if I had that much money I think I'd spend it on something else. Like maybe more trips to London like you took :) Thanks for sharing!

  10. What an outstanding birthday celebration you had! You are lucky to have a Granny who will blow up balloons in the night. I bet you liked the sharks, even though the sea horse is pretty cool too...I wish we had a Tea Bus in America. That looks like so much fun. Did they have to drive slowly so the cupcakes won't slide off of the trays? And now I am hungry for cupcakes and cookies because of your yummy photos! Best wishes, and I hope you have a great year!

  12. Oh my goodness wee man, what a fabulous time you had in London. That was so special of Granny to blow up all those balloons and decorate your room like that! I am a bit afraid of sharks but I LOVE seahorses, I certainly hope you get to like them one day, they are becoming scarce and we need to look after them. Those pancakes you had were amazing! Oh, I love the bus you bought at Hamleys, it will go very nicely in your collection! Hugs to you and Granny, Anne xx

  14. Happy Birthday Wee Man, sorry it is so late in getting it to you.
What a great birthday your Granny had planned for just YOU!

If you and Granny do some string painting, make sure to do an ATC size, then you and my GDs can swap them. They would LOVE to have one from a different country.
