Two new Index Cards And a Tag

Hello Everyone

Wee Man and I have used some of the index cards we covered in spray and splat the other day, for a couple more of our Index cards.
Day 29 from Wee Man
And from me
The prompt is Ice Cream so I used the blue inky splat and added a cone, coloured with a gel pen. I also wrote the words, I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice-cream - which  is a song written by Howard Johnson, Billy Moll, and Robert A. K. King. It was sung in the episodes "Hi, Neighbor!" and "Oh, What a Day!" (info from google)
For Day 30 Wee Man has stamped some letters

(Psst! He says I have to tell you that I helped him with this one a lot because he fell of his swing and hurt his arm)
He is okay. Had a shock, got winded and has a rope burn in the crook of his arm, but he was back to it later on :D
My Day 30 is a silly one based on the Telephone prompt..
I started with the intention of just using my mobile phone number but then I wanted to add a couple other things so I used other numbers too.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now as it is Tuesday, over on Tag Tuesday the new prompt this week is Faces.
I used a circular tag from an old gift wrap pack, and glued a whole heap of postage stamps on it and then used my face stencil over the top.

I thank you for your visit. For all of your visits. Both Wee Man and I appreciate them very much and we always enjoy reading your words.
Take care. Be Happy.

Index Cards.....

......Numbers 27 and 28

Hello Everyone

I hope you are well and have had a good weekend.

I'm here this evening; Sunday June 28th 20:45pm, to share my and Wee Man's latest Index Cards. I hope you enjoy them.

Remember the other day when we played with spray inks and such like? Well some of these cards are the the results of that play.
Wee Man's Day 27 is following the prompt of Academic with his school bus.
My Day 27 is a sketch I did in front of the TV
Both of our Day 28 cards follow the prompt, Dramatic except Wee Man also gave his a title -
Dramatic Colour Party
isnt that clever and cute?
We are both a bit disappointed that the sparkles from the Wink of Stellas' that we used, just don't show in the photo's of these two cards, especially as there is lots
I think I will keep trying in different lights, because they are both very dramatic with all the sparkle.

Okay, that's all for this evening. I look forward to seeing you again soon.
Until then, take care and be happy.
{{Hugs}} from me
and Wee Man of course :o)) x

SoC and Two New Index Cards

Hello Everyone

Here we are again with more arty endeavours from me and Wee Man.
First of all our ICADs for days 25 and 26

Hi there, Wee Man here. This Icad was created using a new stencil from our star friend Sue Waters. I added the blue with a Neocolour 2 crayon and spread it round with a baby wipe. Then I added lots of granny's gold glitter glue. I think it is awesome.
My Icad for day 26 is me on my bike.
Bye for now, Hugs, Wee Man. Now here's granny.
I did this without thinking and only when it was finished and I realised one of the prompts was 'Organic' I thought this would fit that label for day 25.
For day 26 the prompt was 'Exotic' - I saw a flower like this in a magazine so I drew it on my tissue dye background with gel pens. The chipboard dragonflies were painted with dabs of paint leftover from teacher gift making, and then covered in crackle glaze. For a better view, click on the image to enlarge.
This afternoon we were getting cards ready for the next couple of days using spray inks and glitter brush pens with lots of spraying and splatting going on. This is how our hands look - after washing. It was so much fun!
And finally here is my entry for the Summer Of Colour week three.
The colours this week are Purple Purple Yellow
I used Neocolour IIs, on a watercolour greeting card, to make a plaid pattern, and a waterbrush to smooth the lines out a bit. I haven't decided on a sentiment yet, but it's a useful card added to my stash.
If you would like to know more about the Summer Of Colour challenge, hosted by the lovely Kristin, then just click on her name and you will be transported to her blog where you can read all about it and view lots of gorgeous entries using this weeks colourway.

Thank you so much for your visit.

More ICADs and An Anti Journal Page

Hi there everyone :D

Apologies for the picture heavy post, I do seem to have got behind in posting. What's my excuse? Well, life is very busy here, what with the school holidays looming and all the extra activity that goes hand in hand with that, like special assemblies, sports days, Summer fetes, and not to mention the extra hyper activity of a kid with ASD looking forward to his birthday holiday in three weeks and counting.

Anyhoo, here are our index cards for Days 21,22, 23 & 24. I won't blab about them, but if you have any questions, leave it in the comments bit and I will get back to you asap.

Now I know I said I wasn't going to blab, but this last one, is Wee Man's Stained Glass index card. It is another hot glue piece, but this time it is on a piece of acetate, the size of an index card, and coloured with promarkers. We got the idea from Pamela Ritter Gilfillen, when she commented on his first hot glue card, saying it reminded her of stained glass. Thanks for the inspiration Pam :D
.........................................................................................................
Now I want to share my latest Anti Journal page with you.
The prompt is Pixelate an Image'
I couldn't figure out how to do that, so I'm pretending that this is a pixelated image of a multicoloured carpet! Lol. Think it works? haha. Anyway, I enjoyed colouring all the wee squares with my gel pens. It took quite a few hours. Now I'm going tohave fun doing the next prompt there, Paint using a plastic building block
Right, I'm off to see what Carolyn and Karen have been upto lately.

Well, until next time, Stay well, and be Happy.
{{Hugs}} Mo :o) xx
And Wee Man of course :D :D

Week 2 Summer of Colour

Pink + Pink + Orange

This week our colour theme from Kristin's Summer of Colour challenge is, as above; and how striking they are together, don't you think?

Again, I decided to use a handy index card, seeing as how the Index Card A Day (ICAD) challenge is in full swing, and on day 17, as we speak.

I used Guava pink Gelato on the text paper background, and for the lettering and doodles, I used a deep pink Stabilo Fineliner and an orange Stabilo Fineliner.
I envisioned it as a lot more striking than it seems, but alas, it looks rather washed out in this photo. I promise, it is brighter irl. In fact, the Guava pink is rather a lovely colour.
Thank you for the colour choice Kristin, they clash beautifully! :D
................................................................................................................

Now, as it is Wednesday, I also have an Anti Journal spread to show you.

I rather love how this looks. I used a home made quill pen and black acrylic paint, (because I didn't have any ink), that I thinned down with water to make it easier to use.
I was inspired to this by Tammy Garcia's fabulous, and free Draw Your Words Workshop on her blog.
The actual page prompt on the left, was Shout Colourful Language, but I spread to both pages, and on the right at the bottom it says, Uglify Beauty,  Most of the black splodges were already there; I just added to them and enhanced them a little.
Btw, under the feather is the letter G for GOLD, (just in case you thought I'd written 'old purple', lol)
I'm looking forward to seeing what Karen and Carolyn have done in their journals this week too. Click on their names to jump over to their fabulous blogs, anytime you like.,

Thank you so much for popping in, I really appreciate your visit and your comments.
Take Care. Be well.

Wee Man's ICADs 15 & 16

and granny's of course

Here, as promised yesterday, albeit a little late in the day, are our next two index cards.

Wee Man's Day 15
Hot glue patterns and watercolour paints.
I really enjoyed squirting the glue with granny's glue gun, but it hurt my hand a bit, so granny helped me. After it was cold and hard, we added lots of different watercolour paints. I was very surprised that the paint didn't stick to the glue. Granny said it is called a resist.
Here is granny's day 15 card.
The background was created with watercolours and wet teabags left to dry on the card sitting on a heater. I drew the emblem on tissue paper then glued it on.
Wee Man's Day 16
I stencilled the bus with a blue pen onto a card that had some old map paper on it that granny sprayed blue.
I added the windows with red pen and used a silver pen on the wheels.
Here is granny's day 16
Doodles with a black Pitt pen on the inside of an envelope stuck to my card.

Thanks for popping by to say Hi. I hope you enjoyed looking at our cards today.
Hugs from Wee Man
and granny of course
{{Hugs}} :o))
