T Stands for Tea on Tuesday

A second post, hot on the heels of my journal page, but it's time for Tea on Tuesday with our hostess Elizabeth, from Altered Book Lover, and the other nice folks posting their tea talk too, (hehe).

I got a really fun gift a few days ago. Want to see it?

It's Fred the ManaTEA! Haha! :D Isn't he cute?!  I already had the mini mug, but I had to show him off, in-situ didn't I?!
He was bought for me, so that I could better enjoy this >>>>>

My very favourite drink of tea! I am allergic to oranges (it gives me migraines), so I have always avoided drinking Lady Grey because of it's citrus undertones. But I managed to get a tester bag, and I was fine, and I discovered my love for it. YaaY!!
I may get me a nice teapot one day. Just for me. Well there's only I would use it, in a house of men. ;)

I also enjoy other teas including fruit mixes and Nettle & Spearmint in the evening.

If you would like to join Elizabeth's T-Team, please follow this link and post about your favourite beverage; we'd love to read about it.

Until next time............
...........thanks for popping by to say 'Hi' ((hugs)) :o) x

  1. Fred is SO cute and I laughed when I read he was a ManaTEA. Fun and funny.

I've never tried that tea, but I love any loose leaf tea. This looks beautiful. I'll have to see if they have it here. At least I know they sell Twinings in the US, so this might actually be easy to find.

I don't own a teapot, except the one that has no lid. Hard to allow water to steep that way. I think Bleubeard ate the lid. NO, seriously, I bought it at a thrift store and they sold it for half price, which was still expensive for me. So, I wish you luck finding a good one you like.

Thanks for sharing your new mug, providing me with a laugh, and sharing your new tea, too for T this Tuesday.

    1. I hope you do get to try some Lady Grey. It is my favourite. I will keep looking out for a teapot I can love but in the tween time I have my eye on another 'Fred' infuser, hehe.
I would probably sweeten the chocolate mint tea a little, but perhaps with honey. I have a sweet tooth, and can't drink any tea or coffee without sweetening first. Especially some of the herbal ones, i find many of them quite bitter. :D Thanks for your lovely words as always :D

  2. Just saw your question. I didn't sweeten the tea, but think I should have because it needed something. The tea tasted OK, but wasn't as chocolatey as I would have expected. Some chocolate taste, but definitely a minty taste. Not strong mint like spearmint, though.

    1. Thank you for your comment on my post - the Manatea, made from silicon, splits in the middle and the tea leaves go in the tail end. Hot water is poured on and the tea infuses through little holes around the body. I will try to remember to take some photo's for you, the next time I use it :D

    1. Ahh, lemon tea - so refreshing. Don't leave it to brew too long and it shouldn't be better and taste nicer on your palette. Give it a go, you have nothing to lose :)

  20. I love Fred! He's too cute! lol With him in your cup how could you have a bad one. I've had earl grey but not lady grey will have to now. Too bad on the oranges and triggering your migraines, my favorite teas are the orange base ones. On a different note, just checked all the hives today, not much stores this year, so I didn't harvest any, (except that in the spring). All the bee keepers around here this year have had low harvests.
