Craft Barn Q & L Challenge #16

The latest challenge at The Craft Barn is #16 and the words are Thing or Family. I am very late for this one. Number 17 is due to be announced in just two days time, *gasp*! That's how late I am. But, I have done a wee page and I'm happy with it.

We are to use a quote and/or a lyric including one or both of the words. I chose the word Family and my quote, with no attribution, is, 'Family makes this house a home'

The background is Neo 2 blues, smooshed around with a babywipe. The sunburst is a TH stencil that I coloured with paint, inktense pencils, oil pastel and Yasutomo shimmery paint, (similar to Twinkling H20s) . The house is made with paper scraps and inktense pencils for the window and door. I like the wee birdie stamps ;) and I used my micron pen for the writing.

If you'd like to see what other people have done using the words Family &  Thing, just follow the link above.

Until next time......................
.............thanks for popping by to say 'Hi' ((hugs))

  3. Those inktense pencils must be really nice. It looks like they allow the background to show through, which I really enjoyed. I also like how you used the stencil to make the house truly shine. Great job, dear Mo.
