Craft Barn Q & L Challenge number 8: Knowledge & Hurt

Hurrah! I am so happy that I've got my page completed so quickly this time around ((happy dancing)).
The Craft Barn's new challenge words for the Quotes & Lyrics Challenge are Knowledge and Hurt.
We are to use one or both words and use a quote or a lyric.
As soon as I saw the quote by Charles Schulz I knew I wanted to use it; I have always been a fan of the Peanuts cartoons. Elizabeth was very quick off the mark and has used the same quote on fabulous recycled file folders.
I printed off the image of Snoopy along with the quote and cut around them. I glued an Easter napkin onto my page and added a folded, Lindt chocloate wrapper, over the egg that the pink bunny is standing on.
Ok, I admit, the wrapper was around a wee chocloate bunny I enjoyed yesterday ((nomnomnom)) hehehe ;)
I stuck down Snoopy and the quote, then cut out some wee flowers, from another napkin, which I also stuck down and added a few stems with an aquarelle pencil. Easy peasey, lemon squeezy :o))
If you would like to see my previous entries for this challenge you will find them here. I am very grateful to my friend Lynn Holland for allowing me access to the Sketchbook Friends blog so that I may showcase my entries thus far. ((HUGS)) to Lynn.
Click on this link if you would like to find out more about the Q & L challenge, and here to see what others have created this time around.

Until next time.........
.....thanks for popping by to say 'Hi' *hugs*

    1. Ahh, you are so very kind Lynn :D I really enjoyed making this page. I got the napkins in Asda a couple of weeks ago. I knew they'd be useful for more than messy mugs ;) xx

    1. Hehe - I tried not to admit that chocloate scoffing was necessary, but as it was for my art, it's calorie free! Thanks for coming by Kaybee :o))

  4. Oh Mo, I'm SO glad to FINALLY see you in blogland. It's been a long time since I could leave a comment, especially since I'm not a member of Flickr. But it was great of Lynn to share her other blog with you for this challenge.

I read your first post. You will be great in blogland. You are so talented, and I'm so glad you took this plunge. I saw the comments of the others on your first post. PLEASE don't add word verification. That turns SO many people off. Moderation is OK, because you still have to decide who and what posts you publish, but WV takes way too much time for the reader, and many won't leave messages/comments when they see that is the only option they have to get in touch with you.

Now back to this post. You did a fabulous job. NAPKINS. Wow, the ultimate repurpose. Snoopy is adorable in your Spring/Easter inspired entry. And thanks for giving such a nice shout out to me, too.

BTW, if you need anything blog wise, I can probably help. Just ask. And since I'm on an asking kick (grin), may I add your blog to my left sidebar? I'll only add it if you give me permission.

    1. Hellooo!! I'm so happy that you came over Elizabeth and I would be most honoured for you to add my blog to your sidebar. My first one I believe ~ WooHoo! How exciting :D Thank you for asking I hope you don't mind my having added your blog to my list without prior consent? I didn't realise there was any etiquette involved. I hope I haven't upset anyone :/
I'm so glad you like my Snoopy Easter page. I am quietly chuffed with it, I do admit ;)
I will defiitely be keeping you in mind for blog queries, thank you again :o))

    1. I'm gld you like it, I thought of you when I did this Boo ;)
I wanted the background smooth, but couldn't find my 'brayer', (read mini wall paper roller, hehe),. Napkins are a devil to get flat when they're wet, but I'm ok with the textured end to it :o))

  9. It is almost like you have been blogging for years Mo, you have taken to it like a duck to water - well done you! Like Elizabeth says, please don't add word verification..... as someone who comments on a lot of blogs, it takes a lot of time and if like me, your eyes are tired and old, I often get it wrong and have to try again and again........very off-putting.

Love Snoopy and your page is adorable - I have not tried that napkin technique yet but it looks like fun so may just have inspired me to try it! Thank you. Hugs, Anne xx

    1. Hehe - funny :) I noticed sometimes the word verifications are blurry, so it's not 'old eyes' Anne ;) Thank you for the compliments, it is through visiting lovely blogs over the past couple of years that has given me the confidence to 'just talk' on here. But like my header implies - sometimes it IS just twaddle ;)
I'm delighted that you like my Snoopy/Easter page. I would love to see what you did with napkins, but I know it would be just fabulous! xx
