I've joined an online class by
Alisa Burke called Sketch into Spring. It's a mini class over 30 days with simple ideas, prompts and lots of inspiration. I love
Alisa's work. I have only been following her for a short time but have been inspired enough to want to try one of her classes and as my creating time is quite limited, a mini class seemed ideal. I'm late to the party, as it started in March, but the class is available indefinitely once you have joined, which is great for those with limited time.
Anyhoo, the first prompt was to use as many different words as you can that describe Spring. I've just used a few and drew around a word stencil.
The rest is doodling with various pens and daubers and I went over the background with pale blue chalk pastel. I really enjoyed creating this.
Until next time............
..........thanks for popping by to say 'Hi' *hugs*

ReplyDeleteThank you Valerie :D It was fun to do, without thinking about it very much :o) x
Deletevery nice writing. My favorite part is the flower in the corner. I love how some of the petals look like they are behind others.
ReplyDeleteThan you so much Boo :D That is my favourite too :D
DeleteYou have created such a lovely Spring atmosphere with your drawing Mo, the sunflower is beautiful! Well done for taking the class, it is always such fun doing them and it is a lovely way to learn new techniques. Hope you enjoy it! Hugs, Anne xx
ReplyDeleteThank you Anne, I did hesitate, I must say, as I sometimes struggle to complete my Tag Tuesday and other challenges, but because this isn't a challenge and the tutorials are available 'forever', I feel more relaxed about it. Which is a good thing really, considering I've joined Tammy Garcia's ICAD again this year and a Watercolour class starting on May 1st! Yikes! Am I mad?! lol. Something will give, it's bound to........
Deleteprobably my sanity.......lol Thank you for coming by Anne *hugs* :o)) xx
What a pretty page and yes well done on taking up this mini class. It seems such a relaxing thing to do as well.
