Something a Little Different

Hi Everyone

I know it's been a few days, (nearly two weeks), since there was any action from this little port in blogland, but I haven't been idle. Well not completely, haha.

My friend Boo shared this link with me. It is for 'Free! Kids Online Art Classes' that are hosted and taught by, Carla Sonheim, Lynn Whipple and Diane Culhane.
I had hoped Wee Man would join in, but I think he's about arted out for a wee while after successfully completing his 61 ICADs. However, I signed up anyway, watched the videos and picked the ones I wanted most to try, and here are the results.

Picasso inspired Dog  (watercolours)

Oil Pastel & Paint People

Modigliani inspired Portrait 1 (watercolour pencils)

Modigliani inspired Portrait 2 (watercolour pencils)

These were all a lot of fun to do, and I see myself doing more.
Many thanks for visiting and looking.

Take Care, Be Happy
{{Hugs}} Mo :o)) x

  2. Looks like you had a fantastic fun time Mo,
Congrats to Wee Man too for finishing his assignment. We all have to have a break from our creativity now and again to recharge the batteries. ;D

  3. I was planning to sign up for that class, but when I went there, I couldn't sign up. I[m glad you did, even if Wee Man was all arted out. Part of it could be the let down after the London trip, too.

I am in LOVE with your Picasso dog. That is awesome. The portraits are nice, too, but the dog really spoke Picasso to me! So glad to see you back in blogland, and thank you SO much for your continued support of my art, too.

  11. These are great, your dog is wonderful, love his teeth and the way each eye goes in a different direction. I wouldn't like to meet him, it could go either way.
Your lady with the specs is terrific too, and I like the background you've made for her.
