Anti Journal

New Pages

I've been playing in my Anti Journal book again, and this time I cut into it; but as per instructions mind you! Haha.

The page prompted me to cut around a circular area and turn it over so that it affects that page and the previous one. You may recognise the wee bit of paper weaving from this page.

Another wee prompt said to 'Be Daring' which I tried to be, but I'm very much a novice at this kind of thing.
That's not to say I'm not happy with the finished result, because I am, I just feel it could have gone further, I just wasn't sure how, without spoiling it.

I started off adding some Neocolor IIs in rough circular motions and swiped them outwards with a baby wipe. I've added some dots of colour with my fingers and some bits of washi tape. I've added some blue, red and green paint with my finger and finally added some neon colour dots with a highlighter pen.

 Here's a close-up

So that's it for now, and until next time, take care and thanks for coming by; any comments you leave are most welcome ((hugs)) Mo :o) x

Edited to add, Carolyn Saxby's excellent new Wreck this Journal spread can be seen here.

    1. Thank you Karen, I appreciate your lovely comment!

I started into a new catalogue the day it arrived a couple of weeks ago too, lol. Well, it's better than straight to recycling. We can't hope to make purchase from EVERY catalogue that drops through the door can we :D

  10. That was very daring cutting out the circle and changing it round. It must have taken some courage after working on a page beforehand.
The whole double spread works for me Mo and as Brucie would say "Did I tell you, you are my favourite". I've been saying that about everyone of Carolyn's little allotments xx

    1. Thanks so much Lynn, I never thought twice about cutting the circle out tbh, there's nothing precious on either side so I didn't hesitate. Haha, good ol' Brucie. Oh, I declared the Sunflower allotment as my favourite altho' I did love the wee bees :o)) xx
