Hello everyone, it's Tuesday again, and we're in November already! Hasn't this year just flown by?! And even faster than usual in my opinion, but, hey-ho, that's life in the fast lane, hehe.
Now, as it is Tuesday, it's time to share a cuppa with the gang over at Elizabeth's.
I went out to meet a friend last Thursday, but unfortunately something cropped up at the last minute and she couldn't make it; so there was I, 'Billy no Mates', wondering whether to just go home or go into the cafe on my own.
The call for caffeine grew, so in I went and got a nice seat by the window.
I enjoyed a lovely cappuccino and a fresh scone with butter and raspberry jam as I watched folks pass by outside.
Wishing you all a Happy T Day, whatever your favourite tipple may be.

Be Happy

First of all, I love, love, love your cat! Bleubeard gives two paws up, too.
ReplyDeleteSecond, I am truly hungry for a REAL scone. There is no place here anymore that serves or even makes them. I made them once, but they didn't taste like what my grandmother made. So, I envy you and your butter and jam sitting on that scone.
Thanks for joining T this week with your cappuccino, scone, and jam. It looks wonderful and I suspect it tasted just as good even if you didn't have it over conversation. Just think. There's always next time!
Fantastic that you went in and enjoyed yourself. It is hard for me to sit alone in an eating establishment.
ReplyDeleteHappy T-day
I would have chosen to go in and have a treat, too. Your cappuccino and scone look scrumptious! Happy T Day. :)
ReplyDeleteWho can resist a capuccino?Love it!Have an inspring week!Happy T Day! :)

ReplyDeleteYou know I began my T post today also wondering where in the world the time has gone ;-) but here we are in the eleventh month already!
ReplyDeleteYour window seat sounds just right especially with that fine cup of cappuccino and lovely scone...ummm
Happy T Day oxo
Twinks sometimes its nice to just do things on our own.. I'm rather a loner so i tend to do alot by myself... I'm so glad you enjoyed your moment people watching. :) Happy tday hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteGood choice! Nice treat while people-watching :) Their china color is cheerful. Happy T Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteI´m glad you went on your own. That looks like a fine treat, and one´s own company is fine, too. Of course, you kinda included us, now... :-) Happy T-Day!
ReplyDeleteNow that looks so delish!!! So glad you went on in to have some so you could share with us :)
ReplyDeleteGood for you that you went in on your own. It took a lot of 'maturing' until I started going anywhere on my own. Now I don't mind and just people-watch and enjoy whatever treat there is to be had.
ReplyDeleteScones! Yumm! We have them every time we go to the UK. Especially as we frequent Devon a lot, you can imagine I put on quite a lot of pounds with clotted cream and jam scones!
Happy T-day

Hello and Happy T Day! It's lovely to go out on your own at times, beautiful picture! Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteI too would not be able to resist going in for a cuppa. It's times like that you wish you had a book in your bag.
ReplyDeleteA lovely photo...and good for you enjoying your time alone. Sometimes it's just what we need to recharge! (the caffeine helps too! ;) happy T day!
ReplyDeleteI love the painting of the cat on the fence in your header, it is totally lovely! I normally refrain from going into those places on my own so I you should be proud of yourself to sit and enjoy your treat even if you didn't have company.
ReplyDeleteGood for you taking some time out to sit and people watch. A favourite pastime of mine when I take myself off on my own xxx
ReplyDeletePs nice photo shot
Sorry your friend couldn't make it but happy to hear you went ahead and had your coffee and scone. I like people watching when I am by myself.
ReplyDeletei don´t know which i want most now... the Cappuccino or the scone... happy t-day to you also!!
ReplyDeleteIt has flown by, you are so right! What a shame your friend could not make it but I am sure your coffee and scone cheered you up again - that coffee looks wonderful! Hugs, Anne xx
ReplyDeleteI agree with you even I feel that this year has gone even faster. Glad that you chose to have that coffee.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week
Oh, I'm so glad you went in on your own and had a sweet treat! And yes, it is shocking that it's November already. Happy T-Day! :)
ReplyDeleteA rare treat, to pause by oneself and enjoy the moment, glad you did! Yes! Where did the year go?! Although the calendar says November it's 75F outside here today and half the leaves are gone. Me and the bees are wondering what's up with the season.lol Have a good one my friend. x
ReplyDeleteSometimes it is good to have a coffee and scone peacefully by yourself as long as you have something to read but watching the world go by is good too. (My motto is "Always carry a book").
ReplyDeleteIf I wasn't so darned full from supper, I'd be salivating over your photo. :) Today was our last day of warmth....snow expected next week.
ReplyDeleteHappy T day...a little late!
