Anti Journal Pages and Index Cards

Hello Everyone

I would like to share a couple of fun pages with you today

The prompt here is, 'These are black words', so I wrote the word Black in twenty five different languages.

And the prompt for this one
was to gradually simplify a sketch or pattern.
I chose a zentangle pattern called 'Diamond Panes' created by Margaret Bremner in 2011.

As always, I am looking forward to seeing what Carolyn and Karen have been up to with their  journals.

Days 9 and 10 Index Cards

Wee Man's Day 9
is a Texture Paste Bus, This is a, 'first' for Wee Man. A lolly stick was used to spread the gritty paste through a stencil. It was fun to do and a joy to see the great results that Wee Man achieved.
My Day 9
is Carrot and Lemon - I used my Lemon Gellato to paint my carrots using a fab tutorial by Tracey Fletcher King. I just kept adding layers to try and get deeper shades and used a white signo pen for the highlights. I used a Faber Castell Pitt Pen, a Copic Multiliner and a Uni-ball Eye for all the inky bits.
Wee Man's Day 10
is one of our favourites so far.
My Day 10
is one of my least favourites.
I used the prompt 'Eggplant & Ginger' I used a burnt orange Inktense pencil and an Aubergine promarker.

Well, thank you so much for taking the time to come by. We will be back soon with more of our index card art.
Take care. Be well.

Wee Man's ICAD Days Three and Four

and mine too of course

Hello Everyone, Wee Man Here,
and me too, thank you very much!
Haha.

Here we are today to share our next two Index Cards for days three and four.
For day three I did some Splatting with bingo pens. They are lots of fun to use like this. I splatted the purple one so hard it went up my arm as well!
For day four, granny helped me to emboss two double deckers. The first one is gold and sparkly and people can hire it for special days like birthdays and anniversaries, in London. The second one is blue. and is a Stagecoach number 11 going to Inverness. I hope you've got your tickets even though you don't have to pay because they are zero pence.
:-D
My day 3 is following the day's prompt, 'Draw a map' I just came up with this in my head. I quite enjoyed it's creation and adding all the wee details. I used a Pitt pen and watercolour pencils.

Day 4 is following the day's prompt, 'Mail Box' Here in the UK they are called post boxes.
I drew a post box onto the inner of an envelope, which I had glued to my index card, and coloured it with my Inktense pencils. The highlights and collection info is done with my white Signo uni ball pen.
I used a Pitt Pen to doodle wee envelopes all around the border. and for the date of when the Royal Mail was founded. If you are interested in the heritage of the Royal Mail you can find some info here.

And if  you are thinking of joining in and would like to learn more about the Index Card A Day challenge just click here.

Well thank you for looking.
Until next time;
stay well
and be Happy.

and me of course {{hugs} :o)) x

Anti Journal

Repeat and Alter

These next pages in my Anti Journal took hours and hours to do.

First I did all the drawing with a Faber Castell pen

And then I did all the colouring with my Inktense pencils and a water brush

I haven't 'critiqued' it yet, and I may not. I'm thinking of just decorating that speech bubble into silence. We are all our own worst critics and I'm trying my hardest not to do that within this book. It is for fun, for  'wrecking', for not being finicky and fussy.

Thanks so much for visiting. I do hope you leave me a word or two; they mean so much to me.

Keep a check on CarolynKaren & Lynn's blogs who all have 'Wreck this Journal' journals. I'm sure they would appreciate your visit  to check out what they have done in their journals too.

Until next time take care and be well ~ TTFN

Sketch into Spring ~ 12 & #13 Play with Lines & Shapes

Doodles.  Who doesn't love to doodle?!  But Alisa's idea for giving us these prompts is that she feels, 'having a good understanding and appreciation of lines will make you better at drawing'  Well I'll take, and need, any, and all the help I can get!  Haha.  She also says, 'Lines and shapes go together like peanut butter and jelly' - 'most drawings are simply shapes filled with lines'.  I had a lot of fun creating shapes & lines and just let my pen do the work.

I think my favourite from these two pages is the triangle and rectangle line.

Well, until next time............
...........thanks for popping by to say 'Hi' *hugs*

Craft Barn Q & L Challenge #9 Unique & Fame

Hello again ~ I do hope you don't mind another post from me today.  I also hope that my muse stays for a wee while and I can continue to create just as much, for - oh - at least a hundred years or so!  Lol ;)

This post is for the Quotes & Lyrics Challenge at The Craft Barn, where the words this time around are Unique & Fame.

I chose to use Unique and my quote is attributed to Oscar Wilde ~ A work of art is the unique result of a unique temperament.

I used a page that I had been playing about with some homemade stencils on, an age ago, and just added to it, using various stamps, tissue paper, mulberry paper, inks, acrylic paint, oil pastel, white pencil and a wee gem for the large birds eye.  Finally, I did the writing with a Faber Castell pen.  Oh, and the greeny/blue dots were made with my finger in some paint.

To see other takes on this weeks theme you can find lots of links here.

Until next time.........
..........thanks again for popping by to say 'Hi' *hugs*
