Collect Reds & Illegible Writing
They are the prompts on the two pages I'm showing you this week.
I enjoyed colouring in various shades of red Inktense pencils and collecting bits and bobs for that side of the spread and I enjoyed the writing element, except I don't think it's very illegible. I'm thinking I may go over it another time but write upside down over what I've already done.
At some point.
I may.
Or I may not.
If you are interested, you can click here to see what Karen has done in her journal this week and click here to check out Carolyn's.
Thanks so much for coming by; I hope you are well and enjoying some settled weather whatever it's temperature.
Until nest time, take care and be well.
{{Hugs}} Mo :o) x
Glad you are still having fun! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThank you Valerie :o))
DeleteNot a happy colour for me but i do like how you have found so many shades...
ReplyDeleteEnjoying your Anti Journalling very much. Still not found the set i have lol :-) xxx
Thank you Mo, I am enjoying it very much too. You are very busy with your challenges, you probably don't 'need' another journal to do just now, lol :o))
DeleteLove your pages.... This is such a fun project isn't it?
ReplyDeleteI love inktense pencils :)
Weather definitely getting better down here.... I've been gardening! (I'm a fair weather gardener!)
See you next week :)
Karen x
I certainly agree Karen, it sure is a lot of fun. My Inktense are my most favourite pencils, the colours, when wet are amazing.
DeleteFair weather gardener? Me too! Lol. It's all looking in dire need of a tidy up but the wind is still too raw for my liking. Have a great weekend ahead :o) xo
Well how could I not love this Mo... RED!
ReplyDeleteI've had the reds indoctrinated into my soul for years. (My boys support 'the reds') :/
But seriously you have inspired me to get my Inktense pencils out once again. I'd forgotten I'd got them.
I love to write and I think that's why I enjoy zentangles... they're like writing. Simple and no mess.
Love the colour of the nails too.
Glad you're having so much fun
xoxo
Haha, I'm glad you like it Denise, thank you. Are 'the reds' Man Utd? There's not much sport supporting in this house so I am very uneducated, lol.
DeleteI keep meaning to do a doodle and then add colour instead of the black, but get carried away and forget, lol. But that may just be OLB tho' (old lady brain as Wee Man says), but you are very good at writing interesting posts, I've said that before, and its true.
It's difficult to remember what supplies one has sometimes isn't it, and you recently got your luscious Japanese paints to play with, so maybe it will take you a while to use the Inktense again. Have a fab weekend Denise ((hugs)) xox
Your choice of reds makes for a colorful and enjoyable spread. You should have asked me. Most things I write are illegible, and that's on a good day (grin). Personally, I think you are doing a fantastic job with these prompts. They look like SO much fun, more so than the book I'm working in right now.
ReplyDeleteWee Man said you were interested in the homemade watercolors. Not sure they will be cheaper to make, but here's the link to the recipe:

I hope to make some just to experiment.
Thanks ever so much Elizabeth, I shall try to remember if I ever need to use disguised writing, to ask you, lol.
DeleteMany thanks also for the paint link. I meed to find where in the UK I can get Corn Syrup, I don't believe I've ever seen it, but I'm happy to shop on-line if there's nowhere local. Wishing you a peaceful weekend ((hugs))
I think Carolyn will be impressed with your RED pages and yes you must go for the upside down writing x x x
ReplyDeleteHehehe - thanks Lynn. Anne also loves red, and Denise too. It's Wee Man's second favourite colour. he has a list you know. Blue, Red, Yellow, Green, Orange, Purple as far as I know, lol :D xx
DeleteOh well, you could not have chosen a better colour, in my opinion! I love red!! I love the Inktense pencils too. The writing looks good too... I remember once when I had my right wrist in a cast and had to write with my left hand it was pretty illegible! You could try that next time... Hugs, Anne xx
ReplyDeleteHi Anne, thank you so much for your comment, I like the different reds I used and the bits I found. I love my Inktense pencils. I remember dislocating my right shoulder at school, at exam time, so a teacher had to sit with me and do all my writing. I thought it was great, lol. I can actually right pretty well with my left hand; probably neater than trying to be untidy with my right, lol. Thanks for the idea tho'. xx
DeleteCool pages Mo! The writing upside down over it, made me think of when I was a teen, a craze at the time was to write your name diagonally across the entire page then write your message normally. It did make for more concentration to read. lol Enjoy your weekend! Raining here so I'm canning some things I found on sale.
